  • Michigan (10-0; 6-0 vs. Big 10); Indiana (5-5; 3-3 vs. Big 10)
  • Series Record: 49-9; Series Streak: U-M won 14
  • Michigan leads the nation in rushing defense (30.3 yds/game). It's held nine teams under 60 yds/game, eight under 50, five under 25 and two to negative rushing yardage.
  • U-M leads the nation in time of possession (34:05) and turnovers lost; second in third-down defense, with a 25.2% conversion rate; third in fumbles lost; fourth in total defense (241.5 yds/game) and turnover margin; and sixth in sacks (3.5/game). They lead the Big 10 in each of these categories.

  • Head coach Lloyd Carr has a career winning percentage of .767 (112-34), ranking him fifth among active Division I coaches.
  • He is 41-7 (.841) against Big 10 foes at Michigan Stadium and 33-13 on the road. He has the best winning percentage (69-9 .885) of any U-M coach at Michigan Stadium.
  • Coach Carr is 46-18 while ranked in the Top 10.
