Many U2 songs could be the perfect piece for your Easter soundtrack. But none may be more blunt in its message than this.
More than 20 years ago, U2 performed the Woody Guthrie song “Jesus Christ” as part of the tribute album A Vision Shared. On that album, Bono and the boys joined Bruce Springsteen, Sweet Honey In The Rock, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and others in paying musical respects to the man who said, “I am out to sing the songs that make you take pride in yourself and your work.”
